Tanya & Cameron
Tanya is from Ukraine. Cameron’s parents live in China. They found one another right here in Jackson, Msississippi… how cool. I loved getting to know these two during their engagement session–which took place just 5 days before their wedding! They had some scheduling issues with another photographer which ended up bringing them my way, and I’m so thankful!
Had a great time with you two and enjoyed our conversation… can’t wait to see how God uses you two…

Mr. & Mrs. Hughes
A wedding makes the biggest impression on me when it demonstrates originality and creativity–when it tells the specific story of the two getting married, and not a generic one applicable to anybody. Galan and Allison’s wedding was one of the best examples of creative originality. My favorite part was that the entire wedding party quoted, phrase by phrase, a portion of 1 Corinthians 13 (the Love chapter), just prior to Allison’s entrance. It ended, so poignantly, with Galan’s concluding words, “Love never fails.” And then in walked the bride. Man, I had chills.
Galan is the brother of Jess and my best friends Heather and Eliott, who will be wed in just a few weeks. I’m proudly standing as Eliott’s best man in that wedding–it’s going to be a real treat not photographing their big day, but just serving Eliott as a proud and excited best friend. Can’t wait!
Ok, so, on to some of Galan and Allison’s images… You two, I had a blast!

Love a birdcage veil, love a pretty bride…

Sometimes, when you’re just not finding anywhere to shoot INSIDE the church, you’ve gotta think outside the box, or, on top of it…

Mr. & Mrs. Parham
Stacey is one of the funniest brides I’ve had. Seriously, all day long she just had me laughing with her sweet, honest demeanor. I loved the simple beauty of their wedding day. The day seemed as much about the people who love them and came to celebrate as it did about the bride and groom themselves.
They were headed to the Canadian Rockies following their beautiful wedding day… I can’t wait to hear how that went you two! Here are few of the images from their big day…

Stacey talked to people the entire way down the aisle.

The best inscription I’ve seen on a ring: “All the way to heaven”

Mr. & Mrs. Sabins
Jess and I drove by a pink Hummer this past week and Jess quickly commented, “if Bethany Boteler was a vehicle, she’d be a pink Hummer.” Bethany’s got so much class, a big dose of girlyness, but she can hang with the guys just as easily. Bethany and Josh’s wedding–somehow–was like a pink Hummer. I loved it.
Oh, and Carolyn Boteler (MOB) knows how to throw a party. The ceremony and reception were both in the backyard of the Boteler home, and it was all I could do to capture it through the lens of my camera. It was an incredible day and night. Here are some from our time together…

And every party’s always made better when the florals and food are handled by Wendy Putt

Bethany and Josh have friends. Lots of ‘em.

The Pate’s, one of my favorite bands, brought the tunes…
